These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Pet HQ mobile application ("Pet HQ," "the App"), provided by 1984labs ("we," "us," "our"). By downloading or using Pet HQ, you agree to these Terms.

1.Not veterinary advice

Pet HQ is a record-keeping and reminder tool for tracking your pets' medication, appointments, weight, and documents.

Pet HQ is not a substitute for professional veterinary care and does not provide veterinary advice, diagnosis, or treatment. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter, and for consulting a qualified veterinarian for your pet's health.

2.Accounts

Pet HQ does not require you to create an account. Your pets, records, and settings are stored locally on your device.

3.Subscriptions

Pet HQ is available by subscription (monthly or yearly), typically preceded by a free trial, billed and managed through the Apple App Store. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your device's App Store account settings. Refunds are handled according to Apple's own policies, not by us directly.

4.Your content

You retain ownership of the pet profiles, records, photos, and documents you add to Pet HQ. Since this content is stored locally on your device, you are responsible for backing it up — see our Support page for how to export a backup.

5.Acceptable use

You agree to use Pet HQ only for its intended, lawful purpose, and not to attempt to reverse-engineer, disrupt, or misuse the App.

6.Intellectual property

All content within Pet HQ, including the design, icons, and PDF report templates, is owned by us or our licensors and may not be copied or redistributed without permission.

7.Disclaimer of warranties

Pet HQ is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will meet your specific needs.

8.Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Pet HQ, including any loss of data stored locally on your device.

9.Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to Pet HQ for any user who violates these Terms.

10.Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Pet HQ after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11.Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict of law principles.
